The following tests cover most of our normal examinations. Should

Blood Serology
In today's climate of ever more pressure being put onto farmers
by Supermarkets and processors, we have included a limited range
of porcine diagnostic tests. The tests chosen reflect current
interest in these organisms. PRRS and APP testing is designed
for herd monitoring purposes, often in conjunction with medication
and/or vaccination, and on advice from your Veterinary Surgeon.
The situation with Salmonella in pigs is a topical issue with
increasing pressure likely to occur for testing procedures to
be implemented. The two Guildhay tests we currently stock can
be performed on serum samples from the pigs on farm and also
from skirt muscle samples from the abattoir. M.hyo testing is
also used for herd profiling or confirming suspect disease.
